I'd like to go to my daughter's wedding.

One of my favorite lines of the movie because of how effectively Brando delivers it. You also begin to feel a bit for Vito and what is supposed to be a happy day, but instead he is wrapped up in "family" business.

I also thought that was a great line and delivered with aplomb by Brando.

The resignation in his voice shows he understood and accepted that it'd be a busy day--"no Sicilian can refuse a request on his daughter's wedding day."

Yes--I think Vito knew that his formal duties as Don had come to an end for that day. At least in the film, Brasi was probably deliberately left to last.

My niece was baptised this past sunday, i was lucky enough to be her godfather. Everyone there knows my favourite movie is the godfather, so during dessert the godfather waltz starts to play! One of the guests had asked the DJ to play that in my honour!

Did you remember to renounce Satan's pomps?
