I used to know Aprille Trupiano pretty well. She always seemed like a nice person. Never met the brothers.
What I also find interesting is that this generation of the Trupianos gets no help from Slay or, seemingly, anyone else--which seems to vindicate some people's opinions that Mike Trupiano was a front boss, set up to take the heat, and then just as easily disposed of.

The DOJ files concerning Family Secrets have trascripts of Joey "the Clown" Lombardo and Morris Schenker discussing monies owed to the Outfit by Schenker. Joey is basically telling Schenker to pay up the money he owed. The converations give true insight into the inner workings of these guys:
Does anybody have some information on Michael Insalaco: I think this article is referring to the Michael Insalaco of the Bufalino Crime Family. The second link has a photo of Michael and his wife Dolores:
Sonny Ciancutti is the last made guy standing in Pittsburgh. He has been mentioned recently in the paper as some of his key associates were indicted for an illegal gambling ring. Sonny still owns a vending company, still runs video poker and sports bookmaking only during football season.

Just thought I would send a belated 'your welcome'. That FBI site has a ton of info on the Family Secrets Case. I spent hours going through those files when I was given the link. Joey Lombardo cracked me up in those tapes, he was not kidding around. Basically, pay up or die to Shenker. He'd of done it too.
