My realisation that people who claim to like me have shown me they can't be trusted and will do underhanded things to downgrade me.

Anyway, people being underhanded is their problem, their personality. I won't let them hurt me.

I had a passive aggressive (former) friend who agreed to do something and then come time to undertake the assignment turned it down.

Now, knowing he lost out, when I told him that he has to compensate for my loss, he said that he has choice and free will and that he decided not to compensate me!

So, he screwed me twice with the same situation!!

I've learned to not include him in anything important, and where I gain, he would lose out because of his behaviour. He is his own worse enemy.

I'm generally pretty cool unless I'm in the car:

[list]
[*]People who switch lanes constantly when traffic is at a standstill (looking for Seinfeld's "secret lane")
[*]People who knowingly "block the box"
[*]A new and very weird set: people who leave a car length or more between themselves and the car in front at a red light
[*]Anyone who will tailgate but not pass when a clear chance arises

i dont even bother walking around times square anymore, its filled to the brink with tourists taking pics and chatting in the middle of the street or walking like turtles slowing down us new yorkers who have places to be.

You can always tell who the tourists are in midtown, Dapper. They're the ones looking up to see how far the buildings stretch. Well, gaaaaawwwwllly! (In my best Gomer Pyle voice).

As for Times Square: It's probably before your time, Dapper, but I honestly preferred the area before Disney and ESPN came along and made it a theme park. And don't get me started on Kommandant Bloomberg's "pedestrian paths." mad

Sure, when I was a kid you had dope dealers and chicken hawks to worry about, but you didn't have to worry about some yokel from Montana or Idaho slowing you down for a picture.

Your right, that is before my time. I dont even remember Times Square before Toys R Us was there. I thought the pedestrian pathways were a good idea in theory, but like other things when I saw it in practice and how it is almost entirely a gathering spot for tourists I find it annoying.

Not saying I dont support tourists coming to NYC and spending money here, I do. Just as long as they are mindful of others and get out of the way!

Of course, Dapper. Without tourism the local economy would completely collapse. But it does get annoying at times, especially in the summer and at Christmas.

Dont remind me about Xmas, I dont even go by Rockefeller Center to see the tree anymore. Went this past fall for the first time in ages, and that was because I was meeting a friend for lunch and she worked next to the tree. lol

Yeah, that place is crazy. My brother is a crew chief with the operating engineers. His area includes almost all of Rockefeller Plaza. He's been in the same building for over 20 years, and it's gotten so he almost hates Christmas ohwell.

Feminists

Secular liberals (shocking, I know)

Political partisan hacks (on either side)

Child abuse

Animal abuse

Slow drivers

People who have long conversations with the cashier in the grocery check out line. (Virtually always women)

Organized crime forum posters who have yet to join us in the 21st century

The University of Utah

The fanboys who act like Christopher Nolan is the Second Coming. (He's a great director but c'mon).

Moving (Hate it with a passion)

Pack rats

I guess that's enough for now...

I mean the kind of people that always have to be accumulating things. Fine, if that's your thing, but don't ask me to move it. And I will tell my future wife that.

(unless her name is Scarlett) wink

I hate the guts out of pet owners who think everyone else is a pet owner or lover. Keep your dogs out of stores, keep them leashed, keep them from defecating all over the sidewalks, parks, and just ebout every where else.

I'm sick of the liberal do gooders who think they are cool because they build gardens or playgrounds for people who in reality hate their friggin guts!

The white Western liberals who think the entire world wants to live like them and shares their values grind my gears to no end. They can't fathom there are billions of people in this world who don't share their values, morals, ethics, etc. They just can't seem to leave the people of Africa and Asia alone, live and let live. Not every people think homosexuality is cool and chic for example.

Alec Baldwin grinds my gears. Now I'm no fan of the paparazzi, either. But when you're in that life, you've already conceded your privacy, so you should full expect to get your picture taken. If you don't like it, go drive a fucking bus for a living. No one is stopping you. I sincerely hope he takes a swing at the wrong guy one day and gets himself smacked in the face with an ax handle.

I've actually gotten into verbal arguments with some neighbors about this. I'm a big animal lover. Especially dogs. So I can't fathom why some people in my neighborhood allow their dogs to just run free. Do they not care that their dog could wander off and get lost? Get hit by a car? Get attacked by another dog?

Besides reminding my neighbors there is leash law in our town, to just let your dog run wild is so "white trash."

Mrs Meatballs expressing honest shock and concern over the Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes break up. Seriously, who gives a shit? Honestly, who? Fuck that fudgepacker and his zombiefied wife.

Ditto on Johnny Depp breaking up with his missus.

Mrs Meatballs: But you like Johnny Depp!
Mickey: I dont care about his love life! I care about his acting! And even that's gone down hill! Jeez, he should just marry and have sex with Tim Burton already! They love each other so much anyway!
