Not quite, but I did grow up through the tough economic times of the early 1990s and remembered how little money I had.
So, as an adult, I made sure I had plenty. And I don't mean a few k. I'm talking a lot more. I'm refering to this part of your previous post: "The world is a dark place, but to make some change and try and help others you first have to help yourself. I woke up and saw that things aren't always as they seem and the smiles on the faces of people I see are mostly fake and hiding some dangerous agenda."
"Generosity. That was my first mistake." "Experience must be our only guide; reason may mislead us." "Instagram is Twitter for people who can't read."

My number one pet hate is when people walk slowly in front of you in the street!!! Agh I got place to be and your holding me up! Mine too especially 2 old women with bags no escape lol. i dont even bother walking around times square anymore, its filled to the brink with tourists taking pics and chatting in the middle of the street or walking like turtles slowing down us new yorkers who have places to be.

You can always tell who the tourists are in midtown, Dapper. They're the ones looking up to see how far the buildings stretch. Well, gaaaaawwwwllly! (In my best Gomer Pyle voice). As for Times Square: It's probably before your time, Dapper, but I honestly preferred the area before Disney and ESPN came along and made it a theme park. And don't get me started on Kommandant Bloomberg's "pedestrian paths." Sure, when I was a kid you had dope dealers and chicken hawks to worry about, but you didn't have to worry about some yokel from Montana or Idaho slowing you down for a picture.

Your right, that is before my time. I dont even remember Times Square before Toys R Us was there. I thought the pedestrian pathways were a good idea in theory, but like other things when I saw it in practice and how it is almost entirely a gathering spot for tourists I find it annoying. Not saying I dont support tourists coming to NYC and spending money here, I do. Just as long as they are mindful of others and get out of the way!

Of course, Dapper. Without tourism the local economy would completely collapse. But it does get annoying at times, especially in the summer and at Christmas. Dont remind me about Xmas, I dont even go by Rockefeller Center to see the tree anymore. Went this past fall for the first time in ages, and that was because I was meeting a friend for lunch and she worked next to the tree.

I had to look on wikipedia for what a packrat was. Here's a pic I mean the kind of people that always have to be accumulating things. Fine, if that's your thing, but don't ask me to move it. And I will tell my future wife that. (unless her name is Scarlett)

I hate the guts out of pet owners who think everyone else is a pet owner or lover. Keep your dogs out of stores, keep them leashed, keep them from defecating all over the sidewalks, parks, and just ebout every where else.
I'm sick of the liberal do gooders who think they are cool because they build gardens or playgrounds for people who in reality hate their friggin guts! I've actually gotten into verbal arguments with some neighbors about this. I'm a big animal lover. Especially dogs. So I can't fathom why some people in my neighborhood allow their dogs to just run free. Do they not care that their dog could wander off and get lost? Get hit by a car? Get attacked by another dog? Besides reminding my neighbors there is leash law in our town, to just let your dog run wild is so "white trash."
