I'm sick!!! I came down with a sore throat on Monday, but I went to work anyway, and I also went to work on Tuesday, and my throat was absolutely horrible. I thought about going in on Wednesday too, which was my day off, to get a little more overtime, but I decided (wisely) against it. Now, my sore throat is gone, but I'm sneezing up a storm, and I'm pretty sure my nose could win the L.A. marathon as much as its running.

I feel like I live at Wal-Mart!!! We've been preparing for inventory, and I've had 1 day off in the past 2 weeks. Tomorrow is the day before inventory, and I'm completely drained. Granted, Wal-Mart has good overtime, not only do I get payed time and a half, but I also get 10 bucks for every hour I work overtime. I keep telling myself "just wait til Thursday, when you get payed, and it'll all be worth it." Then I say "yea right!" Can someone please tell me what sleeping feels like. I forgot.

Na I won't. I asked him if there was anyway to get the test pushed back til the Monday after, but he said no because we're behind, and after next Monday, we'll only have 3 more class periods until the final, and he doesn't wanna push it back. And what I really hate, is when teachers pile work onto you, like there class is the only 1 that you're taking! Not to mention, after they assign the work, they take forever to hand it back (if it's a project or paper), and then they have the nerve to complain saying "I've got so much grading to do." Well numb nuts, if you didn't assign it in the first place, neither of us would be in this position, now would we? In any case, I'm gonna study for the test tomorrow and Wednesday (getting tutored by a guy in class) and then I'll make time this weekend to study, but I plan on doing everything that I listed in the last post.

I always feel like every teacher I have always thinks their class is the only one any of us are taking. I'm dreading my finals...I always far so fall behind all semester, and then spend 2 weeks going crazy!

While getting dressed to take my husband to the hospital for his knee surgery, I broke a nail. Now, this isn't just a little chip or break, it's way down to the quick. However, seeing that my husband was having surgery, I felt way too guilty to bitch about it. Therefore, here in the anonymity of the internet, I will admit to being upset about my broken nail, even while I was waiting for the surgeon to tell me how my husband did. By the way, the surgery went very well.

This is probably the first year of finals that I'm not worrying. I'm getting done with a class the week before finals so I won't have to worry about it when finals do come around. Then I have a final Monday, 2 Tuesday, none Wednesday, 1 Thursday, and none Friday (but I do have practice for graduation). And there's only 1 real test that I'm worried about because it's comprehensive and it's 30% of my grade! One of my finals is 50%...it's all the class is, 2 exams, and I got a B on the first one, so I need to do good on the final. It will probably help when I read my book for the class! Afs! What a beautiful avatar! I agree, your new avatar looks great!

Yep, it's comprehensive. It's a soc class that the guy teaches like a philosophy class. I do not understand any of the books we are reading...I completely bs'ed my way through the first exam, and I was amazed that I got a B (I'm a english major though, so i am a good bs-er ) The final will be another essay thing, like 3-5 questions, covering everything we were supposed to read. I am scared!

I slammed the car door on my hand at my grandmother's funeral, and I just kept quiet about it all day... so I know what that's like. Well, lucky for this anonymity, you can bitch all you want. I hope it grows back quickly! Filing it back into shape when it breaks that deep takes forever, too... I hate that. Anyway, I'm glad your husband's surgery went well, too.

This is more rain than I usually see in like 3 or 4 years! I think this year we got more than Seattle's annual average!! Imagine that.
