Now I´m not so sure if the name "William Devino" actually appeared in the book. I don´t have the book here. So it may be that Hill, who perhaps never knew Billy Batts´s real name, threw "William Devino" out in an interview while being drunk or high, after the book had been published. Or the original source was just a confused kid, writing articles on Wikipedia.
It's just "Billy Batts" in the book. "Devino" certainly does sound like a plausible drunken recollection of the uncommon "Bentvena".
Can anyone help me identify all persons on this photo?
I see Nicky Scarfo,Joe Ligambi?
Ligambi is the guy in the middle, who is kneeing, with white shorts. George Bogesi is the one in baseball cap. Faffy Iannarella is next to Ligambi, on the right. Nick Caramandi is the one guy with sunglasses (on the left side of the picture) and Charlie Ianacci is holding his arm around him. In the back row, no 3 (from left to right) may be Joe Grande, but I´m not sure.

The guy in sunglasses, and wearing white (corny) t-shirt is Anthony Pungitore Jr.

Anthony Accardo with Gaetano "Tony Gobels" Ricci, a Genovese capo
Where is this from? Seems very rare to see a Chicago guy with a NYC Genovese guy.
The picture was taken in connection with them arriving at a federal court in Miami, Florida to answer questions in front of a grand jury in 1969. The grand jury wanted to ask them why they have been conducting secret meetings at a Miami Beach motel. The mobsters gave only their names and addresses and refused to answer further questions. Vincent Alo and Meyer Lansky had also been subpoenad to this one.
thats a good one of gemini twins and casso... yeah and big frank lastorino, donno the other guy - can't wait to see this casso interview - I'm thinking gravano and this are the most rare interview we're all dying to see...
From now on, nothing goes down unless I'm involved. No blackjack no dope deals, no nothing. A nickel bag gets sold in the park, I want in. You guys got fat while everybody starved on the street. Now it's my turn. -Frank White
You say your 72, if they come back and tell me to give you a message - and if you want to defy it ... I assure you that you will never reach 73 - Joey "the clown" Lombardo

anthony senter and testa they were made guys then anyone know.
My understanding is that both of them were made sometime around 1985.
This is interesting, I made a thread on this about a year ago and a lot said they weren't. Is there proof? They were with the Gambino's in 83 and maybe 84 so it would be quick to get made into a new family in a year or two?
