Here's an easy one...

I don't know where that picture of Gandolfini is from but I can't imagine the Tony Soprano character wearing such a mask.  Btw, I miss the Sopranos. Remember how fun it was on the board on Sunday nights? Just sayen.  TIS Anyway, do you know who this is?

Is the mask he's holding of any significance as to whom he is? No. This one was unfair.... it was aimed at those of a specific region and of a specific age. His name is John Zacherely and he played "Zacherle" a ghoulish host of a tv show aimed at kids. The picture above is of him without makeup. This is as he appeared on the show:  Someone else go.

I recognized him immediately. But SC is right - I'm not sure many people outside of the NY/NJ area would know him. (Although he did start out on TV in Philadelphia in the late 1950's before he came to New York.) He also had a long career on FM radio in NY.
The photo was taken a few years ago, but he is alive and well - and will turn 94 in September.
As a matter of fact, Signora V. and I met him at a convention back in 1993. A very nice fellow. I still have an inscribed autographed photo of him hanging on my wall.

The clue may make my guess off base, but is that Billy Mumy, the former child actor, who appeared in a few Twilight Zone episodes among other things. Kly, I know exactly who you are talking about.
