I think the noteriety MS-13 garnered in the last decade or so worked very much against them, and directly led to the massive operations like the one in late 08 that saw some 650 suspects arrested across five or so countries.

MS-13 is nothing but low-iq and stupid indians. Violent, yes. Organized, structured, deliberate, cohesive, no. The idiots kill each other, wind up being incarcerated and make NO money in the process. Colombians defintely don't work with them(directly at least), mexicans probably do, they are indians as well.


Colombians are mostly indian too. Their cartels aren't what they used to be. Only the Valle Del Cauca cartel is known. Outside of this cartel, it are the paramilitary groups FARC, AUC, Urabenos, Aguilas Neras,...controlling the drug trade. Almost all of the people in these groups look extremely mestizo.
