Is following information true :

Portuguese and South American...yeah, sounds reasonable.
But has anyone ever heard of a Latvian Latin King ?

Well, by that logic there would be Romanian, Brazillian, etc etc.

I think a better term is Latino. Which in America just applies to Hispanic colonials.

As far as I know, it's a Puerto Rican gang.
But they've been accepting other Latinos over the years, in areas it's in their best interest.

I thought one of the reasons Dominicans Don't Play was formed was because PRs pretty much hated on them. Hate on every other Hispanic population it seems now that I think about it.

Also when I said it's was primarily a PR gang, I mean it was historically in Chicago. Now apparantly it's dominated by Mexicans over there.

As far as I know the NYC Bloodlien faction is still predominantly PR tho

It's not the only link which states this lol. It's even in 'The Encyclopedia Of International Organized Crime' by Carlo DeVito.
But it really sounds like BS. Maybe there was once a Latvian guy involved with the Latin Kings, eventhough there aren't many Latvians in the US. The only Latvian-American I know of is DJ Lethal.
But like you said, Latin Kings is primarily Mexican with probably still a lot of Puerto Rican members and probably some Ecuadorians and Portuguese. But Latvians, Caribbeans, Spaniards, Italians,...involved with the Latin Kings ? Maybe one or two in the history of the gang ROFL

In Spain the Latin Kings are almost all Ecuadorian.
In the US they are mostly Mexican and Puerto Rican, but I think they also have a lot of Ecuadorian members in the US since the Latin Kings are strong in NYC and most Ecuadorians in the US live in NYC.
The Latin Kings in Spain aren't on the same level as the US Latin Kings at all though

You dont have to have any latino or latina blood to be a LK, Ive known african amrican LK's, and white LK's... obvisiouly the MAJORITY of the LK's are of hispanic descent but it is not a mandontory gang rule and if it is, it is widley broken... I myself was a GD Folk and our main rivals were the LK's this is how I know this.

Mostly Puerto Ricans but there is every type of hispanic in the gang didnt see too many dominican or cuban LK's though and a LARGE LARGE population of Syrians i know that not hispanic but they wanted to drop the LK name and name themselves the Syrian Kings however the powers to b in the LK's did not entertain this and threatend to kill anyone claiming Syrian kings.... any info anyone needs on latin kings just let me know i can get pretty much any info needed on this topic... i was a GD Folk but my battle buddy in the marine corps and my best friend today a guy who took a bullet for me was and still may b in the LK's.... and hes always answered any questions ive had about LK's..... my buddy has even said that his set in Humboldt Park are bitches... he said he spit in one of the leaders faces and didnt even get a V.... a V is a violation. which results in a beating stabbing or could even mean you get whacked.

But like was mentioned in the book : a Latvian Latin King sounded pretty odd lol. Portuguese Latin Kings sound more believable, especially since there is a relatively large Portuguese population on the East Coast.

I might sound uhh ignorant but im not sure what a Latavian is however there is a huge population of middle eastern Latin Kings like i said Syrians but thats not the only middle easterns who are LK's so if a Latavian is of middle eastern decent there might be.... however the Syrians are the only known "SET" of LK's which has absolutly NO latino members in its set that i know of....Every other set i know of has mostly latino latina's and just a few african american's , and whites and other races.

Well in Chicago, it says that while originally Puerto Rican - Mexicans now rule the gang their by a vast majority. Something like 70 percent. As Chicago has a huge Mexican population apparently. Their group is known as King Motherland Chicago (KM/C) Or by the all-inclusive term Almightly Latin King Nation (ALKN). They are the ones who are usually the ones setting up chapters in other states or abroad.

In New York, the Latin Kings are a bit different IIRC.
They're a splinter faction called the "Bloodline". Founded by Luis Felipe, AKA King Blood. They also refer to themselves at the Almighty Latin King and Queen Nation (ALKQN) as a whole. I think he only had a marginal connection to the greater Latin King scene, before designating himself as Supreme Crown over the State of New York. The Bloodline is regarded by Motherland Latin Kings as not being true Latin Kings. Much Like the United Blood Nation (UBN) is a unsanctioned splitner group of the West Coast Bloods.

Bloodline Kings are mainly Puerto Rican, I think. Also some Dominicans and Columbians in the earlier days. It was reported tho that alot of Dominicans have dropped out to join the Trinitarios organization. Puerto Ricans in NY are known to have racial feuds with other Latinos. And apparently, Mexican Latin Kings are a rarity in NYC as well.

So all-in-all, Chicago Latin Kings are predominantly Mexican, plus any direct transnational chapters and sets. Bloodline or NYC Kings are mainly Puerto Rican. All claim to accept anyone tho. But because of cultural standards they end up taking in mostly Hispanics of Latin American descent.
