Lay off the kid, seriously.
You guys may joke around and such, but it's not really helping him becoming a better member or the kind of welcome you need when you're new. So what he created a topic you don't deem worthy of these boards, why mock him for it? I've seen a lot of this lately, and it's not pleasant. New members need to be encouraged, not mocked.
My two cents. Just felt I had to say something. No ones saying the topic is not worthy it's just that it's been done before and it's not as if it's the first time he's created an already existing thread Mr. white knight . Name another thread

I'll post one. I've been to an italian steakhouse in chicago and looks straight out the 40's. Cant assume but some of the guys in there fit the type. Another cool thing is that i saw parked Cadillacs in front of the no parking zone Let me guess, Gene and Georgettis? The only place where the real guys used to hang was Giannottis, out in Oak Brook (although the one in Schiller Park was frequented also). Joey the Clown, the builder, Difronzo, Borsellino, everyone used to be there. Changed owners around '06-07 i believe, and just isn't the same. The other place was Slicker Sams, in Melrose Park. Closed awhile back too. I grew up eating at that joint every Sunday. Nowadays in Chicago there aren't really any real Italian soulfood places left, except Gene and Georgetti. But all you see there are wannabes and lawyers. There are still mob hangouts around. And I dint think they were wannabea there
