It has photos from his federal trial and it details Basciano's rise to power and the way old Bonanno boss Joe Massino betrayed him as a government witness. Written by Anthony M. DeStefano who did "King of The Godfathers" and "Mob Killer."

Yea, its about Vinny and Massino's relationship, mostly. Massino actually helped save Vinny's life in the death penalty case.

^Actually, he didnt. Basciano got convicted of that murder but was spared the death penalty by the jury. Massino's testimony helped convict Basciano.

While ,yes, it was the jury which actually voted to not approve the death penalty, 10 people on the panel agreed that as one of the mitigators was that people like Massino carried out equal or greater crimes and didn't face the death penalty.
