I think the big change in seasons is how Chalky is perceived by his daughter, Maybelle. Last season we saw that she was embarrassed by her dad's "low class" upbringing (i.e. his taste for the common food associated with poor southerners) and now, all of a sudden we see that Maybelle finds her dad "interesting". Last season she was really interested in her boyfriend, and now she isn't.


Thanks SC! I didn't get that she was interested in her father. Gee! Isn't that a radical change? I'm not sure how I missed that hearing their conversation. The way she said her mother married her father, I never thought she means interest and not disgust. Gotta watch their conversation again.
