But why do you call this timeline definitive? Definitive according to who or what?
There are a lot of contradictions:
- within the novel (e.g. return of Michael)
- between novel and film(s) (e.g. massacre)
- between GF and GF2 (e.g. birth of Vito)

Some events aren't mentioned at all. How can you tell the year of Fredo's wedding?
