Long story. Since my internet at home is messed up I have to type my work in Bussiness Class, and then I can't even print it here. My solution is to go to my ROTC room computer late and print out the work from directly on here. Genious, no? I've got more to post on here if it's no problem: 30. Virginia/Kentucky reslution 31. Alien and Sedition Acts: They were supposed to protect the United States from "dangerous" aliens, but were used by the Federalists in an attempt to stop the growth of the Democratic-Republican Party. 32. Undeclared Naval Warfare: 33: Barbary Pirates 34. War Hawks: an individual who supported going to war with Britain during the war of 1812. 35. Supreme Court: The judiciary branch of the national governemnt, it’s job is to interpret the law as it sees fit.. John Marshal was one of the first justices, while John Jay was the first. 36. Cases: 37. War of 1812: Second military conflict with Britain we had, it was spawned by years of our being threatened by the British. It culminates in the war, during which our White House and all of Washinton is torched just like Paris at this very moment. 38. Treaty of Ghent: Signed in Ghent, Belium; this document ended the War of 1812. 39. Battle of New Orleans: Commanded by Army Officer, Andrew Jackson; the final battle of the War, it was a resouning but hard fought American victory fought after the treaty of Ghent. 40. Andrew Jackson: general responsible for the victory at New Orleans who would later become the seventh president of the United States.

MM, Hope you have a great time. There is a lot to see in L.A. I don't know what kind of things you like, but Universal Studio is fun to tour. I know they have tours also of Beverly Hills (if you want to see how the other half lives ), movie stars homes, The Chinese Theater. I always enjoy walking down Hollywood Blvd. (don't go at night tho), a lot of shops, but a lot of weird people too. Also, you can see a show being taped most of the time, in Burbank I think. Jay Leno tapes there too I believe. Last I knew, it's free to get in but plan to get there hours early, as I think it's on a first come basis. Zia can add more, and/or correct me if I'm wrong. Btw, Zia, you forget he's coming from back East. You and I may think it's freezing, it may be a halfway decent day to him. TIS

That's true, I think it's been raining back east anyway. But I'm freezing my ass off, how about you? I know you get cold easily too, just like me. Is it electric blanket time for you yet? And MM, TIS is right, you can go to TV tapings, Jay Leno included... here\'s the site where you get tickets. They're totally free, and you don't pay for parking or anything either. Just yeah, get there like 2 hours early or else you won't get in. Much fewer hookers and muggers now, and a lot more normal people and tourists. I know you have a cousin here who probably knows where to take you and stuff, but if you want any more suggestions, just let us know!

Zia, It is electric blanket time. I wanted to see how long I could go without turning my furnace on. Didn't quite make it thru Oct. I hate being cold. Btw, it's not raining here, but it's been cloudy. I wouldn't be surprised if it rains tonight. It's in the air I think. TIS

I rocked ripped jeans with paint on them, flip flops, a blue button down shirt, and a blue sweater over it today in this cold weather. I'm so good at fashion trends that I some times think I'm gay.

BTW - Its gonna get down to about 35° here tonight. [/b]SC, I don't necessarily pay attention to the temperatures. When I'm cold, I turn up the heat. I think when the low's get in the 40's for sure, it's electric blanket time. Btw, it's been as low as 35 here. I've even had days when I had to scrape ice of my car window. Usually I'm in warm sweaters when it is 50ish. TIS

Zia, I'm inland and yes in the summer it gets hotter (105+ at times) and in the winter definitely colder. You are by the ocean and actually are in the perfect climate IMHO. Every now and then we even get snow flurries. Everyone rushes to the window (at work) thinking it's so neat. You can tell they weren't raised in the snow. I'm the only one who stays put. TIS

I think maybe the temperatures get more extreme the further inland you go; it seems like it gets hotter and colder there than it does out here.

Hey Zia and TIS, sorry for not getting back to you on my Los Angeles adventures, ive been busy. I'm mostly here to look at colleges, or at least thats what Im telling my parents. Ive visited USC, UCLA, Santa Monica community college, and Pepperdine. I really really liked USC, so it might take some convincing when I get back home to Jersey to see if my parents will send me back out here. Its been nice, weather wise, and Ive gone to see a movie in one of LA's many nice old fashioned movie theraters every night so far, so thats cool. My cousin, who Im staying with, has taken me along all the major streets and stuff, and Ive seen some of the attractions here and there. I also saw where River Pheonix and Biggie Smalls died, so that was interesting. Im gonna go online tonight and look up some of the shooting locations for Heat, Collateral, and maybe Swingers, and hopefully see some of those places. I passed by some of the clubs from Swingers. I havent seen any celeverties yet, although I did see some black guy in a red hat going up an escalator with this girl on his arm, and all these photographers were taking pictures and shit, but I only saw him from behind, so I dont know who it was. Looking like Usher maybe. Anyway, any recommendations for stuff to see while Im out here? Tomorrow's my last day, so Ill see if I can fit some more stuff in.
I dream in widescreen.
