How are you getting from point A to point B. Margaret's deceased husband was physically abusive to her. Nucky hasn't laid a hand on her. I didn't write anything about Irish stereotypes. Nucky is of Irish descent but the goon that beat Margaret was of German descent (Hans Schroeder). The children did witness some abuse and likely would have witnessed more absent Nucky's intervention.
