Damn, your attitude towards vacation, school, and proscrastinating ressembles mine very much. And that's not a good thing for you, believe me. The worst part is of course the feeling of guilt when school starts. But I'm sure you know that feeling.

And btw, I didn't know you play the clarinet. Do you play it on a high level? I'm only asking since I got to play with clarinets all the time (I'm a pianist).

All too well. I have this guilt in mini-doses every Sunday (before the week begins) and every Wednesday (the night I usually end up cramming 50 pages for History). I'm terrible at procrastinating (or should I say that I'm good at it?), but the thing is, I usually get everything done that I need to. I wait until the last minute, but I make myself do it, and the worst that comes of it is stress and lack of sleep.

Yep, I'm a Band nerd. Well, I'm not terrible at clarinet, but I'm not the best in my band. I'm going to be in the top band this semester for the first time, originally only because of scheduling issues, but the director listened to me and said that I'd really improved. I do have an interest in Band - I'm not just in it for the social reasons - but I don't practice enough..which leads back to procrastination. A pianist! Wow! You and Zia should do a duet!

Funny! You're a female me when it comes down to schoolwork. Sometimes I think a small part of me, deep down in my brain, makes me procrastinate just for checking how far I can go, where my limits are. Until now I never really failed in anything, but I have this feeling that someday I will. I really must do something about that...

One of these days...right? A female you - that's a funny way of putting it. Well, at least I now know that I'm not alone. Even now, I'm "reading," yet somehow I ended up here at the computer.

Part, you are so right. The Internet only adds to my problem, as I'll take constant "breaks" from homework, and I end up posting and reading here, or anywhere else in the vast Internet world. It's a privilege, yet a curse.

Exactly. Well, I survived the first day, so I think you will, too. It was so long, though - hard to get used to, again. I'd read 50 of the 100 History pages last night, and the teacher ended up asking for a essay on those 50, so I was really lucky on that!

I am in Colo visitng my parents and shredding Telluride. The other day, I threw an absolute perfect front 3. What a way to end the year!
Since I have nothing better to do, I'll probably be posting more often, be that good or bad.

I taped the Orange bowl last night and watched it this morning. Idiot me didn't account for overtime though did I? What looked like the winning field goal late in the 4th was a miss and then my tape finished recording.

The fun thing is, I always forget about my eye makeup and start rubbing my eyes out sometimes. I came up with a solution lately: No eye make up, plus I save lots of time in the morning.

What's the point of make-up anyway if I can't see myself 24/7? I enjoy other's.

That happens to me too, I end up with a bunch of makeup on the inside of my wrists from rubbing my eyes. Luckily I only do that when it's late, so I don't ruin my makeup early on in the day. Also, I have to stop doing that, because it causes wrinkles... I'm getting to the age where I need to be careful about the skin around my eyes.

One of my friends' mother always rubs castor oil around her eyes to stop wrinkles. It has actually done a good job, but her eyes always looks wet if you know what I mean. I'm starting to do that too, but I think it is part of life and you'd have to face it that the old woman with all the wrinkles you see everyday looked just like you when she was young.

That's a relief to know.

Ha! That's exactly what I've been thinking about make up all my life. Two years ago I started to think that I finally arrived at a proper age, and bought my first mascara, but it's still laying somewhere, I hardly remember what colour it is.
