I think there's a possiblilty that I've cracked my shin bone. Awhile ago I complained about my yellow eye from snowboarding. Well, I didnt notice until a coulpe days later that I had also hit my shins on the rail. Well I iced em and they were a little better, so I went skating, and man, I smashed my shins so fucking hard!!! The right ones swelling hasnt gone down much and its been over a week. Its starting to hurt when I stand on it for awhile. Probably not crakced or anything like that, but this is getting really annoying.

You see, Lavi, I never remember anybody's birthdays. I have a good friend, whom I just never congratulated since we are acquainted. I always recollect a week later that I didn't. Every year.
That's why I never expect it seriously from others.

Spring break starts next week I'm going back to my boyfriends hometown with him to meet the parents and all that jazz. ANNDDD I get to spend my birthday with him, which is awesome Hopefully we actually get to do something for my birthday, like oh I dunno.. GO OUT.. Since my last guy thought shoving a candle in a 25 cent cupcake was enough.

I think we're doing dinner and a movie though

Here's me, yesterday, gutting out the kitchen ripping wall units out frightened of what my imagination conjures up (mice with beards, scorpion claws for feet and stinger for a tail). But I had nothing to fear. I only found David Hasselhoff, gagged and tied wearing only speedo's. I forgot I left him there.

"Who's the life saver now, David?" I said before installing the new units. "See you in another 10 years you shit!"

I am really sick right now. I have a cold, a sore throat, and a terrible stomach ache. This really sucks.

I have a sore throat too, DVC. Being sick is a really unpleasant thing.

What a beautiful day! The sun is shining there's a nice breeze (with spurts of gale force winds ), and its pushing the mid-70s! I think I may go outside and play with my Tonka trucks!

I'm growing envious XDC.

Don Andrew (if you see this), you'll be happy to know that I'm having friends over to watch the Blues Brothers this coming week. First, I did a Godfather get-together, and now this, so I'm slowly but surely force-feeding good movies to these guys.

They really enjoyed and appreciated the Godfather, which sort of surprised me, so I have high hopes this time around...as long as I can refrain from quoting each line as it goes by.

By the way, I have a question that you might know the answer to. I'm not very familiar with, or knowledgeable on DVD releases and such, but I know that the DVD I have of BB is some kind of extended version, with extra scenes. I've seen this so much that I can't remember the original version - whatever was on the VHS we had long ago - and I don't know which scenes are "new." We bought the "regular" DVD a while back, and my mom bought my dad the 25th Anniversary edition for this past Christmas. The one part that really bothers me is a clip that's shown right before the church scene, outside of the church. Elwood tells Jake that they've "gotta make that move toward redemption, [they've] gotta go to church." Jake repeats this in a mocking voice, and as much as I love every other part of BB, I can't stand this part! I was hoping I could change it to the original version to show my friends, because (this sounds stupid) I honestly think that one part sort of screws up the mood for the movie. I haven't taken a good look at the DVDs, which I need to, but I thought I'd check with you first. Was this "new" version only on the 25th Anniv. one, or was it on both DVDs? Like I said, I can't even remember what's been added and when...?

Gina, on the 25th Anniversary Edition, the "extended" (full songs, extra scenes) version is on the first side of the disc (side A if you look closely at the disc), and the theatrical version is on the other side of the disc (side B) hope that helps.

They always lose my mail. You wouldn't believe the amount of Blockbuster DVDs they've lost. Last year my folks sent me a package for Easter that I've never received (and it had 1 of my favorite shirts in it) Currently, I ordered a DVD through Amazon and they said the DVD would be here from March 2-8. Here I am on March 11th still with no package! They're just always lossing my crap and it's so incredibly frustrating
