The Russian Mob will never be finished. Their actions are too brutal besides they pay everyone off. Well, maybe not finished, but there is a possibility they will go legitimate and will be considered just "businessmen", like already happened with many of them in Russia. It'a really shameful in my opinion: if crime goes "legitimate", it doesn't mean it disappears, while I often read idiotic statements in newspapers that "there are no more really active criminal groups in a certain territory because they abandoned crime and went legitimate". In my opinion, allowing organized crime to become part of legitimate businesses makes the situation look only worse than before.

2) "Get out of here, old man. Go tell Raymond to go shit in his hat. We're not giving you anything."

if crime goes "legitimate", it doesn't mean it disappears it depends what they mean, if an ex mobster leaves the crime totally and his crime group disappears with the time its business became total legit but if his crime groups is still active not I think the problem is the western world doesn't yet know the mafia from the former Soviet countries well, they have no experience yet, just like the situation with the Italia mafia in the 30s. i read that fbi has enough info about it, at least about how russians operate in the states

What I meant is that, even if they become totally legitimate, the crimes they have committed before are still there and their money is still "dirty money", so allowing them into legitimate business is a shame even if they stopped committing crimes. They should do their prison time first (of course that will never happen, I was just speaking theoretically). i read that fbi has enough info about it, at least about how russians operate in the states I don't know, but why then there are no big Russian mafia trials in the USA since the arrest of Vyacheslav Ivankov? At least I haven't heard of any in which a big boss got a heavy sentence.
