A new kind of mafia

It was bound to happen. Canadian Aboriginals formed criminal organizations in Canada, Maoris did this in New Zealand, now the Native Americans have formed criminal structures ( especially amongst the Sioux in South Dakota/Minnesota).

Nothing new.

I've heard about Native American petty crime gangs before, but I didn't know there was a Native gang with any kind of organized structure before.

There is this documentary about a Native American gang, but I thought it was just a joke compared to any other gang I heard about. The worst things they do is selling alcohol, fighting with baseball bats on the streets or robbing each other's houses under influence of drugs

Most of these gangs are nothing but simple junkies

90% of street gangs are indeed packs of irritating, low-level petty crime 15 tot 20-year olds. But there's 10% that could apply for organized crime status. Gangs like MS13, Crips, Bloods,...the vast majority of its members are annoying shits who think murdering a would-be member for refusing to steal a lollipop makes them hardcore. But there still are some (few) factions in these gangs who are very organized.
Native Mob seems to be more or less organized.
