Poor Mary. She witnessed the murder of her husband and buried three of her four sons at the ages of 3, 11 and 18. I would have been driven insane, too!
I didn't know that. That's horrible. I don't know how they died but I imagine during that time there were more diseases without cures and more violence (maybe).
