Before I retired from the funeral service industry, I was up that way quite a bit. Mostly in Brookline, but I got to Dorchester once in awhile too.
I'm a big fan of Dennis Lehane's, the writer. Most of his books are set in Dorchester. I met him twice. He's a really down to earth guy, for an Irishman .
