When you mentioned Chapman, I thought it sounded so familiar, I knew there was some kind of landmark thing on that street, but I couldn't place it. I'm glad you mentioned the Crystal Cathedral or else it still would have been bugging me now, and maybe all weekend.

I've never been to The Block, I don't get out to the OC too often... but I hear commercials for it on the radio, so I do know what it is.

The Cathedral though, isn't it crazy? I went once when I was a kid, and a couple of times in the last 5 years or so, just to look at some of the architecture... one of the visitor buildings was designed by Richard Meier, and they just finished it a few years ago. Plus the Cathedral itself... it's pretty impressive, isn't it? Did you go inside? If not, next time you totally should. Go when no one's there though, like during the week, and just walk around.

Anyway, I'm glad to hear the trip went well, and glad to hear things are good with the gf!
