The domain of discourse in economic theory can be seen as identifying personal and group motivations of human beings, as they create the comprehensive outcomes (inclusive of the processes) that culminate in personal and collective decisions, and ultimately result in an interpersonal collective outcome called a social state, sometimes somewhat narrowly conceived of as a general equilibrium.
