If you look real quick,very quick, you'll see that Lou Eppolito is one of the Italian Mob guys that is shot by the antagonist in the restaurant shooting seen. Eppolito is seated in the middle of the table & has no lines. He just gets shot.

About the westies more or less. A bunch of alcoholics some used to wear buckskin jackets. My friend Johnny Roastbeef was in that movie played one of the collectors trying to get money from the guy who got his throat cut.
This is a true story one of the guys who blew up lord mountbattans yauht the westies brought him in to ny to hide out. I met him threw them. I owned some cabs back then. I put him on one of tge cabs so he could make some money.
He hated the English because an english soldier killed his little brother with a rubber bullet. It did not take him long here to hate just about everybody. Spanish, black, Russians you name it he hated it. One day he just disappeared never saw him again.

Tommy McMahon (the one guy they did catch) still refuses to make apologies for the attack today. Least to the families anyway. They were the most secretive IRA unit and the most feared unit as far as the Brits was concerned. Still are to some extent as far as those who broke from the peace is concerned.
