this is ridiculous every thread turns into a shit show over a little disagreement. and also what is your problem people? every time somebody actually may really know about someone/something from they're own personal knowledge or experience that person is attacked for being an alleged liar. this is truly turning me off about this board and its a shame because I like it here. it's halted me from sharing some interesting facts relevant to certain topics,simply because of this. God forbid a guy is really related or knows/knew someone that may get mentioned here and could share something useful to people's interests, they are almost always made fun of or ridiculed immediately. for christsake some of you seem to take things so serious on this internet message board like they really do bother you. I'm tired of potentially great threads being ruined by the bullish. let's share what we know guys, and its never wrong to simply agree to disagree Problem is, the ones being bullish (eastharlem, gamms, Dicknose_Moltasanti) are the ones shitting on knowledgable guys like Ivy because he quotes SOURCES and experts. They don't like that obviously and things weren't ugly until they called Ivy a "know-it-all". That's just wrong. Just because he knows his shit and always sources his material. I've gotten several PM's from these people telling me how I'm a pussy and so on. It's irritating, but I can manage it. Just goes to show their level of maturity. I'm too old for that, but I will call Dicknose a butt boy, because he is a follower and always will be. Never a leader and he likes to stir up trouble. Just my two cents. Guys like gamms and east harlem are some of the most knowledgeable guys on this site. Ivyleague, really doesnt "know his shit". All he knows is what can be found off of google. Anyone here can post an article. I agree with south end on this, some times people actually know what there talking about. Ive been told your weiting a book? Your dumping on some of the best sources you can get.

Pizza being a fan figures and games of chance, could you explain how the "numbers" game worked? Where you would buy the tickets? How did you know if you won? What were the odds? The number was derived from the horse racing handle of whatever New York track happened to be running at the time. The payoff was 600 to 1 (unless it was a cut number, then some of the gypsy runners would try to pay you half). Better odds than when the state implemented their number. No tax man, either. As far as buying tickets? They didn't give you a printed ticket on 106th Street  .

There was a candy store near the subway stop on a Hun 10 and lex.owned by 2 Jewish brothers that was the Jewish area back then. Incidently a lot of tough Jews back then my father was one of them. Well later they still owned the place but they were taken over by Spanish heroin dealers.
