Just for the record, Rick Ross is actually a pretty good rapper. I have been known to blast a few of his hits from my car... Unfortunatley Dapp I disagree, In my personal opinion Rick Ross is one of the worst rappers to gain fame as far as lyrics go(Right behind Waka Flaka) and the fact that he both copied a famous drug dealers name andd was previously a corrections officer makes him a total sham in my book

From what I understand talking with people who are in a position to know, no they are not interested in making ceromonies. When I say kicking up, I think its limited to just the gambling, that I hear still goes up, but the rest they just do amongst themselves and not every scam like the old days. The group is and in KC always will be Italian and members of the founding families. There will be the occasional assocate type who may be black or Jewish, but that will be for specific purposes only. You can call them LCN because there are made men, but a crime family, I dont think so anymore, more like a criminal enterprise, a group of people committing various crimes but without a chain of command persey. It breaks down like this, you have about 5 made guys including the boss and underboss that are but not really doing anything, you have a second teir of made guys who are still active and then you have their associates. Its really kind of hard to explain, you have a group like a family doing things together, communucating with each other and stuff, but not like the traditional families of old. Am I makig any sense, I guess in reality you have a couple of crews working together and independently, you just dont have the titles like capos and lt.s and shit.

On the street and active made and associates, I would put that number at around 40. They operate in the N. Kansas City area Vivian and Antioch rd, North Oak Trafficway, they have some areas they operate in Lees Summit, there are operating in the midtown area. Of course they still have a presense on the Avenue and in the River Market area (formally the river Quey). They are stil active in sports betting, shy, drugs and fencing. They have legitimate business enterprises to include bars, clubs, resturants, Liquor stores, pawn shops, vending companies, construction companies, used car dealerships and Simone and Moretina just opened up an atm business which I hear is "running" all the other businesses out of the area LOL. You guys can believe what you want but they are all making money when I get them all gathered up I am going to post pictures of their houses. Honestly, I think the avg made guy/associate makes a lot more money this way than back in the old day with all the kicking up and shit. Oh and a quick note, a tradition in KC is not more, Chubbys dinner owned and operated by the Labruzzo family has been sold. From what I hear they got paid real well. Old man Nick has been moving into other areas as of late such as buying up all the local inner city liquor/conveninace stores where you can get you a bottle and place a bet all in one stop LOL.

I've had my feelers out around here and from what I've heard that's how things run in St. Louis. Except make that 40 a 25, tops.

Back in the early 70's North of the Missouri river was N. KC and was its own city, since then however, KC proper has sourrounded the old north kc and its all now known as Kansas City. Its all one city but referenced as NKC, KC, there are also areas of KC such as the old north east section of town, which was known as little Italy, when people talk about KC there refer to areas as the city is very sprawlled for its size. You have Brookside, Waldo, Westport, River Market, North East, marborl, East KC, Summit, its how we quickly reference parts of the city, sorry for the confusuion. For the record, North Kansas City is the new little italy as the old northeast has become a haven for Nigerians, Mexicans, Asians.

But I'm not from here just attending school. I work at a red sauce joint on the south side and my boss and I have chatted about it. He's a pretty big LCN buff and finding out I'm North Jersey he naturally wanted to 'talk shop'.

All you need to know is if you hear a loud huh like a old man trying to have sex, its rick ross. If you hear someone say pussy at least a dozen times a song, its lil wayne. And if he has an over done brooklyn accent it jay z. Thanks, Skin. But I didn't need to know any of that .
