Although many of you know I have two married daughters, what you don't know is my oldest daughter is due to have her second baby (my second grandchild) on March 1st. smile Last night she called me saying she was having contractions and needed me to go there to watch the other baby, so her and my son-in-law could go to the hospital. Needless to say, I flew down there, so excited and so happy to help out. grin

Well about 3:00 a.m. they come home and no baby. frown False alarm). All thru this pregnancy the whole family seems to prefer that this baby not arrive on the 29th. (like we have a choice right?) lol I am wondering if there are any truths or myths in regards to being born on leap year. Hopefully good things. grin Logically and realisitcally it doesn't really matter, and we all know that. A healthy baby is the important thing, and believe me, none of us are losing sleep over this issue, but I wonder why there is such a feeling on all our parts because of the 29th of February. I mean, other than your exact birthdate coming every four years, what's the difference??? Anyone know anyone born on a leap year?

I am back home now, but anticipate this could occur yet today, or at any rate, very soon, and have an overnight bag ready to go. I'm so excited!!! grin
