The leader of Stannis' fleet, the old guy who was rescued off a rock and wanted to go back only to be thrown in a dungeon?? He must come from my neck of the woods cos he has a similar accent to me!! In real life of course. I don't live in Westeros Interesting Yogi. Obviously I can't consistently tell most of the British or related accents apart but I believe that actor is actually Irish. I wonder if the accent he's using in the show is his own. I'll listen more closely next time. Indeed you are right Lilo, well spotted. Checked on imdb and he is Irish. Why is he sporting a north eastern accent then??

About this show, I'm really waiting for the last book to come out so I could spoil the rest of the story for myself. Mind you, not by actually reading it, but by going through the abridged plot on the wikipedia. The series is moving too slowly. I really can't wait years to know what happens in the end. Given the author's advanced age, weight, interest in other projects and slow writing style you might be waiting a while. He did tell the HBO creators the general outline of how he currently sees the story ending in case he passes on or the show catches up to the books.
"When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives." Winter is Coming
Now this is the Law of the Jungle—as old and as true as the sky; And the wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the wolf that shall break it must die. As the creeper that girdles the tree-trunk, the Law runneth forward and back; For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack.

I'm not sure why the last time I checked "A wiki of ice and fire" I was under the impression that only one book is left. Goodness gracious, there's a 7th book left and with no end in sight for the 6th. Back to plans for water-boarding Martin.

I'm sorry but Brienne beating Jaime Lannister in a sword fight was soooooo not believable; even with his hands chained.
And how HOT is Margaery (played by Natalie Dormer)? I remember her from The Tudors. OMG!
Random Poster:"I'm sorry I didn't go to an Ivy-league school like you"
"Ah I actually I didn't. It's a nickname the feds gave the Genovese Family."

And how HOT is Margaery (played by Natalie Dormer)? I remember her from The Tudors. Possibly. Jaime is the best swordsman in the land bar none but his hands were manacled. He was losing but the fight wasn't over. It goes down a little differently in the book. Brienne is repeatedly referred to as a freak of nature by everyone who sees her. She's bigger and stronger than most men and much heavier than Jaime. I like Dormer.

He gave a VERY rousing speech and then was hit from behind by one of his men. The series didn't show what happened after that. Hmm... So he was not stabbed. I thought he was. Thanks. Also, about that brother and sister that found Bran, we didn't see anything about them in the last season, did we?
