I saw that too Kly. They speculated that it was because parents were told by police that since she was of age (21 I think) that she could have just ran away. Maybe she feels they didn't look for her? Then again, that's only speculation. It very well could be she had a rotten relationship with her family. But I agree, she needs privacy. It sounds like she may need extra help recovering if she can't count on her family. Pretty sad.
