Both are great.....my beef with Scorsese is that he feels a need to change parts true stories when the actual events would have been more interesting
Tuffy Deluna (Arnie) in Casino dying in his Mothers living room, and the Spilotros being killed in a corn field come to mind right off the bat

Been there and done it
I am very much for real, so if you ask, make sure you really want to know.

Beef with Scorsese? Who do you think you are to question the creative vision that he brings to the big screen? You do know that there is something called the dramatization effect, right? That is why at the beginning of the movies, it will say that the story is "based off of actual events." The guy is a legend and regarded as arguably the best film maker of our generation. I don't think Marty really cares about your critique, as his academy awards speak for themselves.

I can never understand this problem with movies, he wasn't trying to make a historically accurate biopic. He made a highly entertaining crime film based on a true story, and if you ask me he mainly stuck to the story, you pointed out 2 random parts that differed from what actually happened. He just made the Wolf of Wall Street, i'm sure much of it didn't actual happen to Jordan Belfort but regardless it's my favourite film from last year. If you want something accurate to a tee i suggest you read a book, or talk to your contacts who apparently have gave you info on every mafia family in both the US and Italy lol .

Scorsese 100 % for Cape Fear, Goodfellas and Casino. But I don´t like all of his movies -> Shutter Island, Gangs of New York, Bring out the Dead.

FFC: I watched last night the first our of "The Conversation", boring as ...I don´t like the Godfather movies eather. I wanna watch the "real" stories not Vito Corleaone-Mix Up fairy tails (Costello,Provaci,Gambino)
