Kids shoot up schools today because they are the product of a degenerate liberal society. The US wasn't built on the kind of immigration we have today, to compare immigration of the 19th early 20th century to todays immigration is beyond stupid. The US never had 40 to 60 million illegal immigrants from a single country before. There were no Chechen or Somalis in small town America. Moden immigration took the soul out of the country. People dont build strong ties with people who are very different from them.
And you sound like a broken old record that blames everything on change: World is much better when we were kids, but then we got older and things change and we don't want them to change, so every bad thing that happen is blamed on change.
However, bad stuff used to happen, and just because there was no media coverage as there is today, you lived your childhood in blissful ignorance of what was going on. People have not changed. They are the same and they act the same.
