Not surprising. They had a TON of evidence. I heard he would have pled out sooner but he was holding out hope for bail just to spend some time with his kids. When he lost his last bail hearing he decided to finally get the plea over with. He was never even thinking of taking this to trial. It's not a great deal, either. With his federal record the guidelines give him something like ten mandatory.
