DD, I did like the episode before last too. It WAS the best of the season so far. I'll likely finish this season but unless it takes a turn for the better I might not tune in next season. I don't hate it, I just don't like it as much as I once did. It's getting dry for lack of a better word. TIS Interesting, for me I have watched all the episodes and am too invested in the show now to stop watching it before it ends.

This is Season 6, there will be a final Season 7. "Mad Men Season 5 proved to be the most polarizing in the show’s history to date (it even failed to snag a Golden Globe nod for Best TV Drama), but its themes of social, political and cultural upheaval – coupled with the emergence of modern domestic dissatisfaction – resonated with even the more critical viewers and fans. Thus, anticipation remains high for the return of the Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce staff, following the S5 finale – and its ominous conclusion - but proceeding what has been acknowledged as the penultimate season, before we learn Don Draper’s (Jon Hamm) ultimate fate in the seventh season." http://screenrant.com/mad-men-season-6-premiere-date-season-7/ The "social, political & cultural upheaval" backdrop during that time is one thing I like very much about the show. "Don Draper's ultimate fate?" Hmmm sounds intriguing. TIS

I didn't know that January Jones was pregnant but in real life but did wonder why she was so much more slender now. Don't know that I was surprised at Don & Betty hooking up. I WAS surprised at Peggy accidentally stabbing Abe. Ouch!! TIS

Finally, a good episode. All the characters are nuts, but I have come to expect that. The only sane one is Peggy, maybe Joan too. That guy Chough---Peggy finally breaks up with her boyfriend, he acts like a kook, all pop-eyed and clueless? I liked his character till that scene. Bob, the office guy, is strange, he seems to be spoofing a character from 1960's sit-com. Betty is nut case. I was hoping her husband walked in on her and Don, and murdered at least one of them. With an axe. Hey, I like a cool plot twist, and I am tired of Don.

Finally got around to watching Sunday's episode. Not a bad one. Love Joan's spunk and especially that it pisses off Pete so much. Never thought about it but got a chuckle when the Avon rep said to Joan & Peggy "Hippies don't wear make-up." Ah yes, all plain & natural look. Background of the political atmosphere is always an authentic touch that adds to the feel of the time also. The Draper hallucinations caught me off guard especially when I see Megan there. Seeing him face down in the pool was a surprise but confirmed what was going on. He obviously was doing more than smoking pot. I would be surprised if Megan is really dead but who knows. They never did show her in the episode. Last reference to her was when Don asked his secretary to get a hold of his wife. TIS

There are rumors on internet past two weeks about Don's wife being based on Sharon Tate, the actress killed by Charles Manson followers. Does smoking Hash really lead to hallucinations? Everyone else seems ok, but he's imaging dead people talking to him, his wife being there, and winds up face down almost drowning in a pool. Only 2 or 3 episodes left.

Finally caught it last night. Yea, good episode with Sally walking in on her "cheating" father being the shocker. Don is such an asshole. He seemed more embarrassed he was caught then even caring about the affect on his daughter. Oh, and he tells Sally he was just "comforting Sylvia?" Ha ha ha..yea, the old comforting a friend line. LMAO Oh, and Peggy and the rat. Ewwww That's me. I'd be freaking out majorly. I'd move. LOL Tho, I doubt I'd proposition an ex boyfriend telling him "I'll make it worth your while" if he comes over and gets the rat. BUT I get her drift. LOL I read something just a bit ago about Megan & Manson murder connection. The article said she was wearing a T-shirt that Sharon Tate wore? Not sure what they are talking about. TIS

I didn't watch last night's episode yet but plan to tonight. HOWEVER, I have been trying NOT to read the buzz. Sounds like something big happened. Something happened to Don?? Anyone watch? I'll check back after I see the episode. TIS

Agreed, wayyy too many commercials. Good final episode, I didnt expect Don to be let go. Overall this Season was not the greatest, it was decent.
