Don't get me wrong, Paulie and Christopher provided some of my favorite moments on the Sopranos, but they had poor self-control, and weren't too smart, which made them a liability, no matter what they earned! ( same for Ralphie!).

I see Christopher more as a soldier with his own crew of earners kinda like Roy DeMeo, a soldier but boss of his own crew of guys

DeMeo was a closet case he picked up Roseberg at a gas station becuae he liked "his style"

George Paglieri was the boss that arranged the sitdown with butch and Lil carmine and tony in the last episode. Not the bartender from the bing.

I have a question: why the hell was Little Carmine in the running to be a boss? Was there even a reference to him being a Captain... is it just assumed he ran a crew in Florida??

Ya i dont think there was ever a reference to carmine being a captain, all it was said about him was he was fixing wet tshirt contests. Little carmine was just rusty millios little puppet and carmine thought he was entitled to it bc he was his fathers son, i guess he watched the godfather to many times where micheal succeeds his father even though hes in no way qualified.

Other mafia guys we see in the show were incapable, rats, psychos or didn't have enough screen time to really know anything about them. So I'd rather have a small but profitable and stable family.

I'd have Vito as an associate, he made a lot of money and if he wasn't a made guy him being gay wouldn't be such a problem. I'd recruit Valery the Russian as an enforcer, he was a tough guy and seemed loyal.
