Then thats NOT listening to inside sources.
Thats only hearing and affirming positions which already just affirm yours.
Whats the point of listening to differing opinions if your minds already made up.
Listen to 'inside sources' if youre open to different perspectives. Listening to inside sources only if they agree with the Feds isnt listening at all.

Listening doesn't mean automatically agreeing with them. And, unless it's a very unique case, I'm going to agree with the feds over anyone - when there's a disagreement - because the feds are consistently going to be the most informed and accurate.

I don't deny people on these forums know certain things. But anyone who believes these people know more than the feds, generally speaking, is living in fantasy land. Most of the self-proclaimed inside sources are liars. The remaining handful do have some inside knowledge but their problem is they inevitably exaggerate what they really know. Over time they become known as an inside source, people start looking to them in everything, it goes to their head, and they start passing off their opinions and speculations as fact. It's like they can't help themselves and I've seen it again and again over the years. In fact, I can only name a select few "inside" guys who haven't done this.

Feds don't broadcast all info they have so a knock around neighborhood guy odds are has info before the Feds.

Except we're on the internet. We have a legion of guys claiming to be "from the neighborhood" and having inside knowledge. If you want to believe whatever these guys say, go ahead. You're only fooling yourself.

Neighborhood guys be it wherever bklyn queens Bronx know people that are 100% straightened out some for years and they don't show up on Feds charts as "made members" sometimes Feds have info and don't put it out there and other times they just don't have a clue. It takes a bit of both street knowledge and whats published or written. Imo.

I actually agree with that, as long as the "street knowledge" is legit. Somebody claiming to have credible street knowledge doesn't mean they actually have it. I've just been on these forums long enough to know that one really has to be careful about who and what they believe, for all the reasons I've said. People want so much to believe that there are a ton of "in the know" guys on these forums but it's not the case. Like I said, most of the self-proclaimed insiders are liars and the remaining few, who do know some things, often exaggerate what they know. Your BS antenna/filter really has to be up or you'll be taken for a ride.

Ivy not mafia related do you believe our government 50% on all the stuff they tell the American people. This is not a sarcastic question.

If you're asking if I believe the government lies to the American people half the time, no, I don't. But that's getting away from the issue here. What's more likely? The feds lying about what they know or nameless, faceless guys on the internet lying about what they know? The answer should be obvious.

I also want to point out something. People say I shouldn't believe the feds all the time but I get in trouble when I don't agree with certain inside guys on the forums all the time. What's wrong with that picture?
