Ivy, is Daniel D'Ambrosia still active? I believe he was in a little hot water for talking to Natale after he cooperated? Havent heard his name mentioned in the last 10 years. Also, Vince Fillipelli...is he a made guy? Is he affiliated with the Ligambi crew? I've heard varying stories on him. Any insight would be appreciated.

Fillipelli was made by Stanfa but now in pretty sure he's in Stainos crew he was with him when he met with the undercover fed

Yes Vincent Phillips is a made guy. Stanfa did make him.

Vince legally changed his last name from Phillips to Filipelli when he turned 18 or sometime around then. His father was Henry Phillips.

The list isn't off and it's as up to date as we know of right now. And it's a list of total members, not only those who are active at present. Anyway who is made is still made unless they die or flip. Merlino might have been the only guy that got money from Vetere but he's still made.



The last I've read about D'Ambrosia was the case in the early 2000's. Filipelli, who is made, has been indicted in recent years for gambling and steroid possession.

That's a pretty extensive list . I know George recently stated the philly mob is dead but they still appear to have a lot off man power and the hierarchy is in place .

If they were smart the AC area could still be lucrative given the anti sports gambling and we saw that big borgata bust that was A multiple million dollar book. That would be an easy operation to set up . Plus they should be running a high end marajuana biz in AC and South Philly and totally dominate that area and shy .

Philly is a big city with a lot of businesses . These guys must be total morons to have lost out on so many lucrative biz . Sure the union biz is dying for them but they should of set up big time sports book ops at the borgata , revel and several other casinos plus high end weed for AC clientele , and have the market cornered in south Philly , plus they should still have an extortion racket on all the go go bars ,bars, auto shops and local reataurants , they should have HJ and BJ actions in the strip clips , they should have a high volume shy biz from the casinos there .

There is a lot of $ to be made in Philly and the mob collectively should have 8 digit size sports book and shy that brings in steady cash flow .

They are idiots if they turned this into a Mickey Mouse operation , there should be a good flow up money going upstairs but if it ain't the Genovese will clean that up , they are smart enough to own or control the liquor distributors and force the local bars to use the , not to mention someone is running AC and the smart ones own or control legit biz that make the casinos use their services for alcohol , linens etc .

If anyone in the know has some info on current state of Philly , please share as with philly , south NJ and AC , these guys should be very well entrenched and solid cash flow , these areas have a high concentration of gamblers , very high .

Plenty of guys making real good money down and around A.C. they r and have been taking advantage of the mess in Philly.
They really only stopped when Scarfo went crazy and wanted to tax them.So they just laid low and it all passed.Most of Nicks guys were so young that they did not know who was who.Bruno let these guys alone,I think that he did not get it .A gold mine and never blinked.

As far as New York I have seen plenty of them but not on that level they come with big construction co.But never rackets,guess they are after the big money, Crea , Barney ,these guys have big outfits that get alot of bids cos well they bulid in N.Y. so there do it more often then a lot of us. They do it for less and faster.
