It's been over for Pittsburgh for over a decade. Age and attrition caught up to them like most other families outside NY & Chicago. New England, Detroit and Philadelphia are waning as well. Detroit may be in the best shape of the three that I just mentioned but it will be interesting to see how Jackie "The Kid" Giacolone's reign will be once he takes over for Jack Tocco.
Both New England and Philadelphia, as small and waning as they may be, are in much better shape than what's left of the mob in Detroit.
