Nicky we really won't know the deal with this case until the prosecutions evidence is disclosed. Or if his lawyer discloses the evidence publicly after full discovery is made. If they really are offering him deals then that tells me it's not a rock solid case against him. But again we really don't know whats going on. Just rumors from different people.

As far as i know they have the car id'd but not him and they have the murder weapon. I'd like to read the ballistic test done on the gun. I heard they only have fragments of the bullet not an intact round. But again that might be bullshit, i really don't know what the real evidence is. And also the paraffin test was said to have came back negative on Nicodemo.

this may sound like an aged old question and I kind of understand the reason but this hit took place back in December of 12' with Nicodemo taken in right away . Whatever happened to the right to speedy trial..I'm not that familiar with the ins and outs of the justice system...there was a court meeting yesterday with another scheduled for early September but when will there be a trial for this? It's not like they are putting together a huge Rico case ... I don't know - just wondering

You can waive your right to a speedy trial which im sure his lawyers advised him of doing. This gives them time to formulate a defense and also now they also can see all the evidence the state has before going to trial. If Nicodemo went to trial right away his defense wouldn't of been ready and all the state had to do was be like gun used in murder was in his car, his car was seen blah blah and he would've lost, but now by waiting he can get a better defense, so while the right to a speedy trial seems like it helps a defendant, continuing the case as long as you can will give you a better shot at trial, but if you're sitting in jail that whole time it may influence your decision, overall though you have a better shot at waiting as long as you can so you're ready for whatever the state has to throw at you.

Could it be that Nicodemo is just dumb and it is a basic drug beef or domestic thing over a chick in some way and this is how this guy solves it. I mean I heard that Dipeitro told on Niccodemos brother 10 years earlier so that could be an angle but....to take him out in the middle of the day like that equals STUPIDITY.... He's going to flip IMO. I'm giving him credit for being mildly intelligent despite his debacle. He's got enough goods on the whole philly crew to milk a nice govt witnesss salary for life. Life : I have made it a point not to respond to people like you. I don,t know where you live ,but i drove buy this place every day for two years . For a year and a half there was that RR parked there. Now a union labor that worked for me on occasions also worked there ,every day he would tell these stories to the other guys about this place he worked at night.I over herd this all the time. Then i was eating at one of my spots in A.C. and the bar tender confirmed this, He is a young guy also ,but he is in the know.
