If Spiegel's reporting is correct, then Iran's newly-elected President Rohani is set to announce the closing of the Fordo enrichment plant and allow international inspectors to monitor the removal of centrifuges. In (hypothetical) exchange, the West led by the U.S. would ease the economical sanctions levied against them.

If a legit diplomatic deal can be hashed out neuter the Iranian nuclear program (thus stop what many believe to be their aims to create nuclear weapons) instead of bombing/war, then I believe this is an option absolutely worth exploring. We made arms treaties with the Soviet Union, a superpower worth fearing. Iran has the fucking GDP of Finland. Don't let the "appeasement" cries from the right-wingers distract you.
