I re-watched the episode last night when Shane busts open the barn doors.......

...and no matter how many times I watch the ending of this episode I am both horrified and saddened when little Sofia comes walking out of that barn. The reaction by everyone, especially her mom Carol and Hershel, is just heartbreaking. Then looking at Rick's face knowing that he has no choice but to shoot her is just horrifying. The acting on this show is just superb!
