Ok, my Dead Head friends. Here's the season four WD poster: I thought I read that the group was going to leave the prison. TIS

Source: DailyDead.com: New Webisodes Announced Robert Kirkman confirmed that a new set of webisodes were in the works during Comic-Con, but now it has been officially announced by AMC. We’ll get three new webisodes next week, starring Ashley Bell, Wyatt Russell, and Ellen Greene: “AMC’s award-winning “The Walking Dead” webisode series returns to www.amc.com and AMC’s YouTube Channel, www.youtube.com/amc October 1 with three new installments. The newest series – “The Oath” – was executive produced, directed and conceived by Greg Nicotero, executive producer, director and special effects makeup designer on the hit show. In the three webisodes (7 to 10 minutes each), the lone survivors of a massive walker-attack, Paul (Wyatt Russell, Cowboys and Aliens) and Karina (Ashley Bell, The Last Exorcism), speed across the countryside, frantically searching for an aid-station, as one of them slowly bleeds out from a wound. Finally coming upon a hospital that has not been overrun, at first feels like a blessing, but could soon turn to misfortune, as a seemingly benevolent doctor (Ellen Greene, Little Shop of Horrors) may hide a darker agenda. Right on the heels of directing season 4’s premiere episode, Greg Nicotero focused his sights on the most ambitious “The Walking Dead” webisode series yet. “There’s walkers, gore and new threats lurking around every turn — all the elements that fans ‘The Walking Dead’ will love!” Nicotero further commented, “The webisodes give us a unique opportunity to see other parts of the ravaged world of ‘The Walking Dead’ while weaving in and out of our show. The crossover between ‘The Oath’ and ‘The Walking Dead’ ties in one of the most iconic images from the series, and gives us insights and history to yet another timeline. I had worked with Ashley on The Last Exorcism and brought in Wyatt and Ellen, who rounded out the brilliant cast perfectly.” “‘The Walking Dead’ audience is passionate and enthusiastically interacts with the show and other fans online. Being able to develop new ways for them to experience the world of ‘The Walking Dead,’ like these webisodes, is a no-brainer,” said Mac McKean, senior vice president, digital media, AMC. “They tell a great story with high production values, and they perfectly complement AMC’s extremely popular ‘The Walking Dead’ digital experiences — games, second screen experiences and interactive content.” The previous two seasons of amc.com’s “The Walking Dead” webisodes have won back-to-back WGA, Streamy and Webby awards. The webisodes are produced by Alloy Digital/Generate with Chris Pollack, Jared Hoffman, Greg Nicotero and Michael Petok serving as executive producers. Hyundai continues its partnership with AMC and “The Walking Dead.” From the iconic Kiwi Green Tucson to Hyundai’s growing fleet of Zombie Survival Machines, including a fan-designed version to be revealed at New York Comic Con, the brand continues to play an important supporting role in “The Walking Dead” fandom. “It’s great to extend our partnership with AMC again for ‘The Walking Dead’ webisode series,” said David Matathia, director, marketing communications, Hyundai Motor America. “We know fans can’t get enough of ‘The Walking Dead’ world and we’re excited to provide unique content before the start of the season.” “The Walking Dead,” the most watched drama in basic cable history, returns for another terrifying and exhilarating season on Sunday, October 13th at 9pm ET/PT. In this highly anticipated new season, we see Rick and the group of survivors fostering a thriving community in the safe haven of the prison. Sadly, in this brutal world, happiness is short-lived and walkers and outside threats are no match for danger brewing inside the fences. The group’s home and new way of life will be thoroughly tested, and their struggle to survive has never been so perilous. Season 4 also introduces several new characters including Bob Stookey (Lawrence Gilliard Jr., “The Wire”). The premiere episode entitled “30 Days Without An Accident” was written by Scott M. Gimple and directed by Greg Nicotero.”

Heads up to WD fans. Tonight they are running first 3 episodes (season 1) of Walking Dead. AND, don't forget, Sunday is the day. I read (forgot where) that this season will have 13 episodes and (as usual) a mid break after the 6th episode. I hate those breaks. TIS

I hope they clear up what happened to the Governor and his two remaining men. I won't be surprised if at least one of his men, or both, leave him and try to rejoin people of Woodbury who moved to the prison. I read that the Governor WILL be in the new season and be even meaner. From all the clips Ive seen, sounds like a lot of new people(from Woodbury I presume) Also, one of the previews shows Herschel commenting to Rick that they've "lost so many of their own." AND, I read that Rick is concerned with how cold Carl has become and will try to help him. TIS Here's a Rolling Stone story on WD: http://music.yahoo.com/news/rise-walking...ling-stone.html

**** POSSIBLE SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO MAY NOT BE UP TO DATE WITH THIS SHOW**** I re-watched the episode last night when Shane busts open the barn doors....... ...and no matter how many times I watch the ending of this episode I am both horrified and saddened when little Sofia comes walking out of that barn. The reaction by everyone, especially her mom Carol and Hershel, is just heartbreaking. Then looking at Rick's face knowing that he has no choice but to shoot her is just horrifying. The acting on this show is just superb!

Hershel is a good charterer but i often wonder how long he's got as seeing as he's only got one leg,all it takes is one fall. DeNiro, FYI, I read (forgot where) that this season Hersel will have wooden leg (stump) and will lose the crutches. TIS Btw, Yahoo is running this story comparing series to comic book. I have never read the comic book and didn't know it was based on it til later. Anyway, it DOES have a possible spoiler (which I'm kind of sorry I read) BUT as the article says, the tv show does NOT necessarily follow the comic book exactly. So if you know the comic book, it shouldn't be a surprise, if not: READ AT THE RISK OF A POSSIBLE SPOILER.http://tv.yahoo.com/news/kirkman-offers-no-road-map-walking-dead-152750376.html

Here's a story about what to expect in season 4. There are NO spoilers but cast info and minor story tidbits (including Herschel's new leg). Evidently there will be 16 episodes with a break after the 8th. Can't wait!!! TIS http://tv.yahoo.com/blogs/fall-tv/27-thi...-182904826.html

You're welcome DeNiro. One thing I'm wondering tho....if the season premier is gonna be more than an hour. I hope so. If 6 months or so are suppose to have passed since we saw it last, baby Judith will probably be a year old. TIS

Pretty good episode. Like DeNiro says, lots of new people to get to know. Wasn't sure about the creepy lady in the woods. She looked like she was in the middle of "turning." I never actually saw what was in that bag tho. However, Talking Dead said it was a head and I assume it was since she wanted food to feed the head. I thought the zombies crashing the store was a great idea. Notice too, how bombarded the prison is with Walkers. I wonder where they all come from? Oh, and how about the ending? The young kid? How did he turn? Is that the case of "everyone's infected" and he didn't have to be bitten to turn? He reminded me of Harry Potter kind of. Anyway, I enjoyed it and look forward to next week. TIS
