Not many over the years; it was more a succession of made guys: Frank Piccolo, Tommy DeBrizzi, Tony Megale. The area doesn't call for it. Besides, they get more than their share of heat up there. The Fairfield area is always under investigation, so why make more guys?

But to say the Gambinos have no influence up there is way off base, Tommy. There are still a lot of shylocks, sports offices and card games in that area that kick up to New York.
