I can´t answer your question exactly but I believe Joe Masseria had nine sons. To my knowledge, none of the sons followed in Masseria´s footsteps. I think Maranzano only had one daughter (and no sons). Maranzano had asked Joe Bonanno if he might be interested in marrying his daughter. Bonanno had to turn the proposal down because he was already engaged to his future wife, Fay. Here´s a picture of Masseria and wife with one of their sons, Joseph JR. [/URL]

Good question, considering that the one and only picture they've been foisting upon us for years(grainy B&W of the mildly smirking man with a slightly receding hairline)isn't really Maranzano. The only other picture I've seen of him is a blurry overhead angle shot of him dead on his office floor. While Maranzano was outfoxed by Luciano,my impression of his nephew is that he'd be outfoxed by Fredo Corleone. For the most part though,I really enjoyed the video(my 1st viewing of it),with the exception of Phil Leonetti's LA Cosa Nostra.Every time I've ever seen or heard him discussing his former life,he ALWAYS says LA Cosa Nostra----he probably calls macaroni PASSTAH.
