Toodoped: whoomp there it is! whoomp there it is! lol
Toodoped: a bird told me that the zipper pants site is slowly going down lol lol lol

Toodoped: Same as the mob paying sites...ppl pay for "Disneyland" and wiki mob stuff, something which they can find it on their own with a simple google search
VanillaLimeCoke: Lousy school violence these days. Not even a 6th of the way through September and we've already had a psychotic violent school shooting.
Toodoped: Word. Few days ago, over here, they caught one teenager with a gun and more than 60 bullets, while going to school. I wonder what was his plan ?!
Toodoped: Damn....the retard slowly became a stalker and he's following me whenever I make a post so he can bump up his own $0,5 "projects" lol lol "IT" is finished and I love it lol

VanillaLimeCoke: I’m hoping and praying that 2025 will be so much better. …. for real …. Too
Giacomo_Vacari: Damn, he is posting the same things over and over, nothing new. Watch out the flu is bad this year. January 20th Trump gets sworn in, and hopefully turn things around.
VanillaLimeCoke: Yeah, but they’re already planning things so he can’t turn them around
VanillaLimeCoke: Biden’s pardened over 8000 people, most of which were issued in the last 2-3 months
hoodlum: Yes, most likely 2 piss off that crybaby & compulsive liar now sadly in office.
Jason1969: Hey! After applying months ago, I finally got my button and was accepted as a member!
As far as fifties era "swingy" Christmas songs, I love "The Man with the Bag," by Kay Starr. It reminds me of my Mom dancing around the kitchen on Christmas Eve. While I shucked clams .
"I got news for you. If it wasn't for the toilet, there would be no books." --- George Costanza.
I can't say I really remember that one. It must have been waaay before my time. Sounds so 50s though. I DO remember Kay Starr. Oh, and speaking of way back when, what about "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus?" AND trivia question, who had the hit on it? (I don't remember) Though I LOVE John Mellenkamp's version.

Jimmy Boyd had the original hit version.
Yea!!SC wins! Can't say I'd know Jimmy Boyd. One hit wonder?

Don't know if this is only popular here in CA, or if it's fairly new, because I don't remember my girls learning it in school. However, my grandkids had it in their Christmas program last week and have the last few years. It's called "Santa's Going Hollywood."
This is NOT a video from my grandkids. I just found it on-line.

Happy Holidays, everyone! Just popping in to drop off a couple of musical gifts. One is the sequel to "Santa Baby," which I didn't know existed until recently. It's not bad:
And here's Miss M:
"All of these men were good listeners; patient men."
Thought I would resurrect this thread as we approach Christmas. I wanted to add this clip by the late great Whitney to my list. It's "I Love The Lord" and "Joy To The World" from "The Preacher's Wife". Definitely Whitney at her peak.
This is a longer version of "Joy To The World" and it's just fantastic. Very uplifting.
Whitney really had a nice voice. Too bad how her life ended going downhill.
I also like Miriah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You".

I've mentioned before that as a child, I always watched The King Family holiday specials. On their Christmas special, one of the moms sang "I'll Be Home For Christmas" to her son's picture. He was in the army, presumably deployed to Viet Nam. Halfway through her song, he surprised her by walking onstage. I was six years old when it first aired, and didn't understand the concept of reruns, so my best friend Kathleen and I would faithfully watch it year after year to see if they allowed him to come home again!
After years of looking, I finally found a clip. To this day, this song moves me to tears like no other.
Aww how nice. Though I don't remember that particular show, I do remember The King Family's show.

Jingle Bell Rock sung by Bobby Helms, All I want for Christmas is You by Vince Vaughn and the Valiants, and SNL's Christmastime for the Jews.
Of course, I like most of the traditional Christmastime songs among which my favorite is Joy to the World.
Oh yea, Jingle Bell Rock is a classic. This morning I heard on the radio a REAL oldie that I barely remember "Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer by Gene Autry. Why I was just a babe in arms. LOL

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year and Holly Jolly Christmas capture the festive spirit of the holiday. Of the classics I think Silent Night and O Holy Night are beautiful carols.
A more recent Christmas song, which is a little off-beat, but I still enjoy is Tim Minchin's White Wine in the Sun.
I just happened to see this just now. This kid is a 16 year old Canadian who does a fantastic Elvis singing "Blue Christmas" (actually one of my favorite Christmas songs.) The talking in the beginning/end is French but song isn't

TIS, this kid just blew me away. 50 million Elvis impersonators scream over each other since the King died, and this sixteen year-old Canadian kid shut them all up.

I like my music to be SWINGING. It makes it better in some ways.

You & me both Kly. I am a huge Elvis fan and this kid HAS to be one of the best. He nails it, that's for sure.
Oli,
I saw the little girl video signing for her parents. How sweet.
