I know this probably isn't big news to some, but I know we have some European members who follow F1 and might of heard that Schumacher had an accident on a ski trip and is in serious condition with severe brain trauma. Hopefully our European members can keep us up to date on what the latest is, since here in the states, we don't hear too much about it.

Still in a coma apparently. If he had not had a helmet on he would have been dead already apparently.

yea, they plan to keep him in the coma for awhile to minimize the amount of oxygen his brain needs. From what i heard, the impact was enough that it cracked the helmet he had on. The press conference they had today implied his condition is a bit better today than yesterday, but still touchy.

This just reminds me of Natasha Richardson who also had a similar accident on a ski course. Hope he makes it through.
