Logo and all references to the next SB... have NY NJ at the bottom?

Giants have been playing in Brendan Byrne sports complexd since I can remember....superbowl FINALLY comes to NEW JERSEY......and we can't even get single billing in the official logo? or even top billing?



Bad enough that when games are televised from here they always open with a shot of Times Square with the line "We're right outside of Times Square"..

Well G-nets, that's the way the world goes 'round. They are the New York Giants and the New York Jets. I believe you will find the location of many sports franchises refer to the surrounding area or nearby city. The Washington Redskins play in Virginia.

I'm sure NJ will make a lot of money off of the show.

I hear you....technically the jets and g-men are new york teams, BUT...superbowl is taking place in the garden state...so a blatant slap in the face for "NY" to be anywhere on the offical superbowl logo

But by that rationale, then the Jets and Giants should be the New Jersey Jets and New Jersey Giants, since they play Jersey. As to the Times Square thing, they do that here with the Patriots where they open up broadcasts showing Boston, even though Foxboro is quite a ways from Boston.

I see only 3 warm weather teams.

It can take up to 30 minutes to get to your seat in that shitty stadium during a regular game. Wait to these people paying thousands of dollars have to go through the extra security, and have to stand in line for an hour or more in freezing weather to get in.

...Back in the 70's when the Giants moved to Jersey, their excuse for not changing their name from NY to NJ was that their offices were still in NY.

I'm so upset over the logo stuff that I'm tempted to toss away all of my current Giants gear with the NY logo

seattle and denver play in miserable weather towards the end of the season so the weather isn't going to give any team

giants played a saturday game one year...the day or a few days after major snowstorm

meaningless game for giants in a bad year, if i recall

anyway...some of the rhodes scholars in the seats start throwing snowballs at players and officials

a ref gets knocked cold....the einsteins continue to throw snowballs....people get hurt...official carted off field
