Pretty amazing. I hope the feds can the worthless prosecutors that brought this junior-varsity level legal case.
Should probably ask Mr. Kierney. I guess if you're Italian, you should be in prison. I've read the RICO Act, and I can tell you it's more appropriate... for some of those guys over in Washington than it is for me or any of my fellas here

Does not make sense why they didn't let Borgesi out last week,I mean you can have it in for somebody but if the jury knew last week he's not guilty they just had to get every minute they could from him.Whether you like him or not that wasn't right. I told you Robreno was No Good!!!!

They should definitely be letting them both out today, there's gotta be cameras there waiting to see these guys walk out, for Borgesi it's gotta be surreal to actually be walking out, if he is everything people say about him is true, karma we'll come to get him. But just like when your at war and you kill the opposition, your not going to HELL considering both sides knew the stakes!! What is Rat finger Lou doing now? Lol he's gotta be crawling in a sewer somewhere to feel comfortable. Hahahaha you Rat fuckin [BadWord] shoulda been a man and ate your charge, he said he flipped because they were gonna kill him, but truth of the matter is if they did wanna kill him but he went to jail for 10+ by the time he came out all ill feelings woulda went away and he'd been considered a stand up guy! but instead he was an imposter who was just a wannabe and when the good times were done! he said "fuck this I quit" you rat Bitch this is what you deserve. And where's jag off Han now and the other guy Labor? Where's you news conference now you scumbags, hope you guys feel good your going back to getting coffees for real States Attorneys, what an embarssement for Philadelphia Fed System lol Fuck Em See if they were real LCN they would not forgive and certainly wouldn't forget

2 things I loved about Edwin Jacobs' Defense of Joe Ligambi.
1) Classification of these charges as "RICO lite".
2) Never denying the fact that they're mob members, but with the caveat that there technically isn't anything wrong with that.
2*) I think that is the successful way to defend a mob case in the post 9/11 generation of RICO trials. It was first used by Vincent Basciano's attorney in his 1 acquittal. I think it was Harrison Ford in 'Clear and Present Danger', "Why diffuse a bomb that has already gone off."

I was in court when Jacobs went over this. To be entirely honest I didn't know it wasn't a crime to be involved in a club or an organization like the LCN. I would assume the jury thought the same thing. People hear the word mob or LCN and they assume one thing. Jacobs is real good and he reminds me of Cutler. Boisterous but commands respect in the courtroom. He's smart and it's hard not to agree wht what he presents. He doesn't come off like a jerk but an attorney that knows exactly what he's doing.
