Yes!!! Lol. Pretty sure UJ gets bail next week if they don't free him today. GB probably walks right out, but does he have to go to a halfway house like Merlino did after being released? Have a great weekend everyone !

GB probably walks right out, but does he have to go to a halfway house like Merlino did after being released? Good question. He was due for release in 2011, so his 3 years supervised release should be done in a couple of months. Yes, I know. But I read Merlino was in a halfway house for 6 months and now he's about to get off supervised release.

Merlino spent 6 months after release in a halfway house, right? So since Borgesi was in prison during the time he should of been in a halfway house that would mean he doesn't have to serve that time.

Hey frank Mazola what's the difference besides saying their in the Mob compared to saying they are ''made guys'' because when I was reading that transcript somebody posted about Ligambi's appeal from back in 97 that was a no no.One of the reasons for his new trial. Neither being in the mob nor being a made guy is a crime technically. While it hurts credibility and increases believability that one will commit crimes, getting your button does not make one a felon. Conspiring to or commission of a felony is what makes someone a felon I haven't read Ligambi's retrial from 1997. Here's my best guess. Without solid proof, the Prosecution took the leap in assuming Joe was made at the time he whacked out Frankie Flowers. Bobby Simone, his attorney (and a very good one), possibly failed to attack that nuance. The retrial judge likely concluded that Joe being a made member of Cosa Nostra unduly influenced the jury to convict. As much as to release him of guilt for the crime at retrial 10 years later.

I think maybe because it was a state murder case and not a federal racketeering murder case that mentioning there mob connections made it detrimental to them getting a fair trial that's just my guess I really don't know I'm not a lawyer

3rd retrial is legal. But VERY uncommon.
But, ya never know!
No, just kidding. He'll be home within the week.
