Hello everyone I have a question about Trucchio and his crew. Is his crew the wealthiest and most active in the Gambino family? They are in to everything and there has clearly been a ton of activity lately. Also would you say that his crew rivals any of the Westside crews in terms of influence and wealth? Hope to hear back.
The feds did say that the Trucchio crew was the largest and most active crew in the entire family. Multi-million sports betting operation, they moved a ton of drugs into NY over the years, worked with the Russians in the strip clubs, active in Florida, etc.
However, the Trucchio crew seems to be mainly blue collar. So, I don't know if it would rival any Genovese crew, several of whom still have major weight in those rackets but also in labor racketeering and legit businesses.
