Honestly, none of us know if he would be made by the westside or not. If Ronnie one arm had been made on the westside then I agree the westside would have most likely made Alphonse. But really none of us know for sure if Alphonse would be made or not. I believe Carmine Franco is not made and he is and has been a huge earner for the Genovese, longer than Alphonse has been alive. Just because someone is a huge earner for the westside does not mean they are or even will be made. I am not a Fed or a made guy so I could not say how guys in the Genovese family think.
You're acting like the Westside never made any mutts. It doesn't happen as often but it still happens

And Carmine Franco is a terrible example. He had too much to lose to take a button. But he could have had it forty years ago if he wanted it. Same could be said for Angelo Ponte.
