avenues(headed by munson,who was older than Raymond and beat him up when he was still a young adolescent)--->baby avenue cribs(started by Raymond after munson's imprisonment)--->cribs---->crips(this is where people disagree-when did cribs evolve to crip?)---->east side crips/west side crips(this is when tookie comes into the picture)/Compton crips/Inglewood crips---->where we are today,when crips turn on themselves, and fractionalize into hundreds of subsets and alliances
